Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, from us to you! The Clinic is now closed for Christmas, until the 7th of January. This Christmas will be an odd one,
Your Feet First is a modern podiatry and foot health clinic located in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We’re an established family business who have been looking after local feet for more than two decades! Over those two decades, our practice has constantly evolved, embracing new technology and techniques, while keeping you at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you’re looking to tackle a painful ingrown nail once and for all, solve a long standing issue with fungal nail or schedule routine maintenance for painful corns , we’ve got you covered. Our HCPC registered Podiatrist and Foot Health Practitioner offer a variety of services from routine foot care, to extended scope Podiatry services to keep you on your feet, doing the things you love!
In our general foot care appointments, we can give you a skin and nail MOT. Whether it’s thick fungal nails, corns, callus or verrucae, we’ve got you covered.
You’ll be treated by a qualified and insured Foot Health Practitioner or HCPC registered Podiatrist using instruments that have undergone a gold standard, 3-step sterilisation process.
If your issue is more complex, our HCPC registered Podiatrist is on hand to help.
Our Podiatrist has an extended scope of practice allowing her to perform a number of advanced procedures, including Curacorn (HA gel implants for treatment of corns and fat pad atrophy), Podtox hyperhidrosis treatment, and steroid and Ostenil injections for the lower limb (up to and including the knee).
We know foot and ankle pain can often have a big impact on your ability to do the things you love.
Podiatrists are foot and ankle experts; our HCPC registered Podiatrist will assess the structures and function of your lower limbs and the way your body moves.
If you suffer from recurring or chronic ingrown toenails that cannot be managed conservatively, our HCPC registered Podiatrist can fix the issue permanently with a simple surgical procedure.
The procedure is carried out under Local Anaesthetic and, best of all, the procedure is more than 98% effective, so there is a less than 2% chance that your nail will regrow.
Curacorn is a new and innovative treatment option for corns that are unresponsive to more conservative treatment options, or for patients who are suffering with fat pad atrophy.
Our HCPC registered Podiatrist can carry out Curacorn procedures, under local anaesthetic, using a specialist cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel, to create a gel implant beneath areas of high pressure.
Our multi-locked system (MLS) laser system is an advanced, non invasive and painless option for treating pain and inflammation.
Treatment with the MLS Laser can be effective in reducing pain and stimulating cell regeneration. Laser Therapy can be beneficial for many foot and ankle conditions, such as Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis.
If you require orthoses to assist with a biomechanical issue, or as part of your treatment plan for a condition affecting your foot or lower limb, that would be best met by a custom orthotic we can help!
We offer both in house options and 3d scanned and printed devices to suit all needs.
At Your Feet First, we understand that how you feel about the way your feet look is important.
Damaged toenails that you wish looked better for a holiday, or the Summer? No problem, take a look at our specialist Pedisafe nail reconstruction.
Merry Christmas, from us to you! The Clinic is now closed for Christmas, until the 7th of January. This Christmas will be an odd one,
